Could this be early rehearsals for A Chorus Line? Or perhaps the dancers pictured here were pledges engaged in some sort of hazing ritual? We found this photo in the 1976 Seal, but don’t know why this group was performing outside of what appears to be Phelps Hall. They must have been pretty good, since at least a handful of spectators pulled up a chair to watch. Perhaps you know what’s going on here? We’d get a kick out of it if you’d share the info with us.
