Homecoming Information
More than 4,000 alumni came back for last year’s Homecoming, and this year’s event, scheduled for October 17-18, promises to be even bigger and better. Read on for details.

There’s no place like Homecoming at TCNJ, so make plans now to return to campus this October 17–18 and join the celebration.

Homecoming 2008 kicks off with a party in the Rat on Friday, October 17, from 6–11 p.m. What better way to start your weekend than by gathering with old friends, roommates, and teammates in the pub where everyone used to know your name?
Saturday, October 18, is Homecoming Day, and will feature something for everyone. Alumni with children will want to check out the family-friendly Kid’s Zone—Noon–4 p.m. in Lot 4—which will feature rides, inflatables, and Radio Disney broadcasting.

All alumni and their families are also invited to join President Gitenstein at a special BBQ lunch, which will take place from Noon–1:30 p.m. on the Sundial Lawn. (Registration required; see information below.)
Tailgating will take place from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. in Lots 3–6. See the information below about the new setup and regulations in effect this year.

At 11 a.m., head over to the Soccer Complex to watch Coach Joe Russo MEd ’82 lead the women’s soccer team against William Paterson. Then, at 2 p.m. in Lions’ Stadium, Coach Eric Hamilton ’75 will lead the Lions football team against William Paterson. The Homecoming 2008 King and Queen will be crowned on the stadium field during halftime. Stick around after the game for an all-ages concert with Drop Dead Sexy in Lot 4.
Homecoming 2008 will also include tours of campus, performances by student music groups, an Omega Psi Phi party in the Brower Student Center, and much more. A full, up-to-date schedule of events is available at www.tcnjalumni.org. Check the Web site often in the days leading up to October 17–18, as the information in this article could change.
