“The fall of a leaf is a whisper to the living,” an old Russian proverb states. Some hear that whisper as a reminder of life’s brevity; others as a call to live life to its fullest; others still, as a cue that it’s time to get the rakes out. We wonder what the students pictured here might have heard. The photo is from the 1964 Seal. Do you see yourself or anyone you know? We’d love to hear from you.
