Alumni, emeriti, faculty, and staff watched the Education Building’s cornerstone be set in place on June 22, and afterward took a hard-hat tour of the construction site. The building’s roof and exterior walls are scheduled to be completed this fall, and as of September 1, the project was still on schedule for a spring 2012 occupancy. When complete, the 72,000 square foot facility will house instructional space, administrative offices, grant-supported areas, and building support spaces.
