Five alumni join TCNJ Foundation Board of Directors

TCNJ Foundation, the nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation that solicits, receives, and administers gifts, bequests, and trusts for the benefit of the College, welcomed five new members to its Board of Directors.

Kimberly Brandley ’90, CPA, is a partner at J.H. Cohn, where she advises a wide variety of charitable organizations and not-for-profit foundations, as well as for-profit clients in the telecommunication, technology, distribution, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and professional services industries. Kim is involved with the Mercer, Middlesex, and Southern New Jersey Regional Chambers of Commerce and was previously the Treasurer for Hands on Helpers. She also serves on TCNJ’s Corporate Advisory Group.

Darren F. Baer ’91 was recently promoted from first vice-president to managing director, strategic integrated solutions, at The Bank of New York Mellon. In his new role, Darren leads a cross-functional team responsible for creating new revenue streams for the Treasury Services Group. His focus is on developing innovative ways to package Bank of New York Mellon’s products and services with those of other companies to create unique offerings that create a competitive advantage for both companies. Darren also serves on TCNJ’s School of Business Advisory Board.

Carl R. Gibbs, Jr. ’93 is executive vice president of Sturdivant & Co. Carl is responsible for the firm’s revenue growth with corporations, public pension plans, and institutional asset management firms. His responsibilities also include collaboration with the CEO to set overall direction of the research and trading department and work with the firm’s executive committee in developing annual business plans and establishing annual revenue targets/goals and staffing needs. Carl also serves as vice president on the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals; as treasurer on the Board of the Ralph A. Sturdivant Sr. Foundation; on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey; on the Advisory Board of the Rowan University Rohrer College of Business; and as chairman of TCNJ’s Educational Opportunity Fund Fundraising Committee.

Shawn C. Rogers ’93, CPA, is a partner with Ernst & Young, where he has been serving companies in various industries for 17 years. He is the industrial products market leader for New Jersey, and has extensive SEC reporting experience as well as significant experience in coordinating the audits of global companies. Shawn serves as the firm’s campus coordinating partner for TCNJ. He also serves as the NJ partner representative on the firm’s Northeast Community Engagement Committee, and is also on the Board of Directors of Camp Fire USA NJ Council.

Chris Ceraso ’93, CFA, is a director and the senior equity research analyst covering 30 companies across the US Automotive and Transportation sectors for Credit Suisse in New York.  Chris has been covering the auto sector for Credit Suisse since 2000 and added coverage of the transport sector (including railroads, truckers, air freight, and logistics) in 2008. In 2008, he was honored by the Financial Times and Starmine as one of the Top-10 most accurate analysts across all sectors in the US, and the Number One most accurate analyst in the Auto Components sector; the latter recognition was also repeated in 2009 and 2010.
