The athletics department’s annual golf outing, held June 11 at Mercer Oaks Golf Course in West Windsor, was the program’s most successful tournament ever with more than 200 golfers teeing up to support Lions athletics. Proceeds from the event benefit TCNJ’s 20-sport intercollegiate athletics program and provide program support for student-athletes in all varsity programs.
John Castaldo ’82, director of athletics and recreation, was ecstatic with the show of support to the institution. “Having 200-plus golfers in today’s financial climate is a true testament to the belief of athletics at TCNJ,” said Castaldo.
