The School of Business achieved its first-ever ranking in the Business Week Survey of Best Undergraduate Business Schools, placing 72nd out of the 96 undergraduate business schools that qualified for inclusion in the 2008 survey. TCNJ is the only school ranked in the prestigious survey that caters exclusively to undergraduate business education.
“TCNJ’s performance is a testament to the outstanding quality of business education provided by the School of Business and the underlying strength and commitment of our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and corporate stakeholders,” said Interim Dean Jack Kirnan.
Rankings were determined by five factors: a student survey, a recruiter survey, median starting salaries for graduating seniors, the percentage of graduates who go on to top MBA programs, and a measure of academic quality that captures test scores, internship opportunities, class size, and student/faculty ratios.
“On several stand-alone measures within the survey—average starting salaries, program value, and average SAT score—TCNJ was ranked within the Top 50 business schools,” said Kirnan.
