Softball Coach Sally Miller got her 400th and 401st career victories when her Lions swept an April double-header against Rutgers University–Newark.

Mike Denver compiled a 45-4 mark to tie the school record for wins in a season, finished seventh at 184 pounds at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships to become the Lions’ 139th All-American, and was named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American Team.

During the spring and summer of 2010, Tom McCarthy ’90, play-by-play television broadcaster for the Philadelphia Phillies, will be TCNJ’s conduit in providing insight to today’s game of baseball and professional sports. Each week, McCarthy will answer questions from members of the Lions’ family.

During his career, Bill Boland has helped produce some of television’s biggest sporting events, including Super Bowl XXXIV, “Monday Night Football,” the Indianapolis 500, and the Kentucky Derby. These days he’s a producer for the Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network.

The Princeton Review and GamePro magazine ranked the College as one of the 50 best undergraduate institutions in the U.S. and Canada at which to study game design. TCNJ was the only New Jersey school that made the list.
