How I Got Here
TAYLOR NOLAN '20
This stellar women's soccer captain says
her team is pumped to go far this season.
> The NJAC championship game is
something that defines our season
year after year. Last season, I scored
the game-winner in double overtime.
I love watching the video of that
goal because of the celebration after.
We worked hard for that title so
to be able to hold that trophy was
extremely rewarding.
> I think this year we have the
best shot at winning the NCAA
championship. We made it to the
Final Four my sophomore year. We
only lost one senior from last year,
and we will take the best advantage
of the experience we have. It's really
a dream to be making it this far and
being this competitive.
> I have been playing soccer since
I was 4 years old. I was really shy
growing up. Soccer helped me find
my voice. I could lead by example.
People could see the effort I put in.
I started getting leadership roles
because of that.
