Sure, it’s better to give than to receive, but better still is giving and receiving. Under a new program announced by the development office, donors who make one-time contributions of $100 or more, or who contribute $50 or more for three consecutive years to TCNJ, become members of the Blue and Gold Club. As members, they’ll receive a family pass for free admission to select campus athletic events and musical and theater performances for the remainder of the academic year.
“This is our way of thanking donors for their continued support of the College and its students,” said Donna Green ’05, MA ’10, director of annual giving. “Several exciting shows will take place on campus this year, including The Moscow String Quartet in October. Blue and Gold Club members can attend these performances free of charge. And of course, we encourage them to also use their passes to catch a game or meet and cheer on the Lions athletics teams.”
Green said that some restrictions could apply for events which are sold out. She said more information on how to join the society can be found at www.tcnj.edu/give.
