In March, New Jersey Assemblyman and TCNJ Adjunct Professor of Political Science Reed Gusciora brought a group of his students to Washington, DC, where they toured the U.S. Capitol Building and had the chance to meet Reps. Rush Holt (NJ), Leonard Lance (NJ), Frank Pallone (NJ), Ed Markey (MA), and Bobby Scott (VA). The group also met Sens. Frank Lautenberg (NJ), Robert Menendez (NJ), and, by chance, Al Franken (MN). The students spent time with several of the elected officials in their offices, and had the opportunity to speak extensively with staff about internship opportunities.
