Hundreds hit the links to support Lions athletics

Miriam Khan earns title of fastest woman in Division III sports

Junior Miriam Khan’s blistering performance at the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championships was the third fastest time in NCAA history in the 100-meter dash, as she became the first Lion to win a national championship in the event.

Later bloomer Mike Denver grows into a wrestling record-setter

Mike Denver compiled a 45-4 mark to tie the school record for wins in a season, finished seventh at 184 pounds at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships to become the Lions’ 139th All-American, and was named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-American Team.

Lacken, Former Basketball Standout, Named a Finalist for CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame

Former Lions’ women’s basketball All-American Kimm Lacken ’88 was named a finalist for the 2009 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Hall of Fame. A four-time Scholar-Athlete, she is the College’s all-time leading scorer (1,518 points) and rebounder (855) in women’s basketball, having earned Kodak All-America honors as a senior during the 1987–88 season.

TCNJ Captures 10th CAANJ Directors’ Cup

TCNJ Finishes Third in 2007–08 USSA’s Directors’ Cup

The College’s athletics program finished in third place in the race for the 2007–08 US Sports Academy Directors’ Cup, making this the 13th straight year that TCNJ has finished in the top 10. The Directors’ Cup is awarded to the best overall collegiate athletics programs at the Division I, II, and III levels. TCNJ competes at the Division III level.

Tennis Coach Honored by USTA
